Why we're evolving

We started uSource to connect people with trusted local professionals. Now we're taking the next step.

Starting July 4, uSource becomes a smarter marketplace where customers can instantly book services in-site and on-store, xbusinesses can showcase their offerings through digital storefronts, and scheduling becomes faster and more predictable for everyone.

What's changing for service providers

Orders are becoming Bookings: Now, you set your prices and availability in advance and customers book directly from your profile.

This means faster confirmations, more predictable income, and less time spent waiting on responses.
You now have a Storefront: Think of it as your online store. This gives you a bookable profile page where you list your services, set your rates, and let customers confirm appointments instantly.

Service modes: For every service you offer, you choose how it's delivered:

  • On-site (you travel to the customer)
  • In-store (the customer comes to you)
  • Or both

You can set a different mode for each service with no restrictions on how you structure your business.

What's changing for customers

Booking is now instant: No more waiting on bids or back-and-forth messages.

Browse available Pros in your area, see their services and prices upfront, and confirm your appointment in seconds.

Here's what you can do:

View pricing upfront with no surprises.

Book instantly with no back-and-forth.

More transparency: Every Pro's profile shows their services, rates, availability, and reviews everything you need to make a confident decision before you book.
Choose how and where your service happen: Book a Pro to come to you, or visit their location directly.

uSource is now a full booking platform, not just a marketplace.

What you need to do as a Pro

You now have access to a Store Setup section in your account. Complete it before July 4.

The setup is simple, fill in these four items:

Your business name and phone number

Your address

Your services

Include a price, duration, and service mode for each one.

Your availability

Define your schedule, including buffer time between appointments.

A progress indicator in the app will show you how complete your profile is.
Your new Pro Dashboard: Your home screen has been redesigned to show your upcoming bookings, earning metrics, and quick actions all in one place.

You can filter by week or month, switch between your Buyer and Pro views, and manage everything from a single screen.

What happens if you don't complete your Store Setup

If your Store Setup isn't complete, your profile will lose visibility. You'll appear to customers as "By Inquiry Only" instead of a bookable profile with visible pricing and availability.

What this means for your business:

Customers on uSource are choosing between Pros who show clear pricing and instant booking, and Pros who don't. When your profile says "By Inquiry Only," it adds a step. The customer has to reach out and wait for a response instead of booking on the spot.

Some will wait. Many won't; they'll book the next Pro who's ready to go.

Completing your Store Setup means customers can see your prices, check your availability, and book you immediately. No back-and-forth. No inquiry. Just bookings.

The setup takes a few minutes. The difference it makes to your visibility lasts much longer.

How payment works

Payment is processed through Stripe in your checkout. When a booking is made, funds are held and released once the service is complete. We give customers seven days after a charge in the event they’d like to raise a dispute. If the service charge changes prior to completing the job, update the quote once the work is finished.
