4. Sharing Information
We share information as needed to operate the Hub, including with Buyers, Pros, invited Pros, payment processors, background-check providers, insurance or claims partners, analytics and advertising vendors, support tools, cloud hosting providers, law enforcement or regulators where required, and parties to a business transaction. For details on cookies and similar technologies — categories, vendors, and your choices — see the uSource Cookie Notice, which is incorporated into this Privacy Notice; the cookie categories described there align with the purposes described here. Under the CCPA/CPRA, “sale” is defined broadly to include disclosures of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration — not only for money — and “sharing” covers disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising. Certain advertising or analytics sharing may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws, and users may have opt-out rights as described in Section 9.
5. Geolocation and Service Modes
We may collect precise or approximate location data where enabled, including for Onsite arrival, ETA, fraud prevention, service verification, safety, category availability, and support. Users can manage device location settings, though some features may not work without location information.
6. Automated Tools, Ranking, and AI
uSource may use automated tools, algorithms, or AI-assisted systems for search ranking, category activation, Pro recommendations, fraud detection, referral validation, pricing displays, support triage, safety review, and product improvement. These tools do not guarantee outcomes and may be reviewed or adjusted by uSource personnel. Where required by law, you may request information about, or opt out of, certain automated decisions.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information as long as reasonably necessary for account operation, transactions, taxes, audits, disputes, safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes. Some information may be retained after account deletion where required or permitted by law, including transaction records, safety reports, tax records, fraud records, and dispute evidence.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure, and users must protect account credentials.
9. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Rewards programs (financial-incentive disclosure): our uCoins rewards program, and uCredits promotional credits for Pros, involve the collection of account, transaction, and referral information described in this Notice. Participation is voluntary and requires an active account; the value of the incentive is reasonably related to the value of the data provided, as reflected in the program terms. You may join or withdraw at any time through the App; withdrawal ends future earning but does not affect your other rights. See the uCoins Rewards Terms and uCredits Terms. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.
